Wyncote
Academy is a member of the Tri-County Independent School League with a
full schedule of soccer, basketball, and baseball games, including playoffs and all
star games. An affiliate of the Abington YMCA, Wyncote Academy fully utilizes
the YMCA facilities for a wide variety of athletic ventures. Girls' volleyball,
tennis and other team sports including coed tennis are involved
in less formal interscholastic competition.
An annual
banquet is held to honor all athletes and recognize outstanding players.
All students, regardless of skill level, are given the opportunity to
participate in team sports. Students also take part in intramural sports
as part of their physical education program.
