Community Service

At Wyncote we believe that involvement in the surrounding community adds to a student's educational and personal sense of accomplishment. For this reason, we require all seniors to complete a 40-hour community service project in order to graduate. There are not many schools with community service programs as personally fulfilling as Wyncote’s program where students are encouraged to choose their own service projects, subject to staff approval.

In the past these have included such meaningful projects as feeding the homeless, rehabilitating housing, volunteering in nursing facilities and taking part in disaster relief.
