Hello, Wyncote Academy families,

LiveSchool

This year, we are excited to introduce LiveSchool, a new platform that will help us track and recognize student behavior across all school environments, including classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, transportation, and school activities. Through LiveSchool, students and families will be able to monitor behavioral progress in real time. Families will be able to view positive behaviors that earn points, as well as behaviors that may need improvement, providing greater transparency and opportunities for meaningful conversations and support at home.

In addition, LiveSchool's Hall Pass feature will allow school staff to monitor student movement outside the classroom. Families will be able to view how often their child leaves class and the amount of time spent on breaks or passes throughout the school day. This feature helps promote accountability, maximize instructional time, and ensure student safety.

All students and families will receive an invitation via email with instructions for creating their LiveSchool account and accessing the platform. Once connected, families can track points, review behavior updates, monitor hall pass usage, and celebrate their child's success throughout the school year.

Positive Behavior

At Wyncote Academy, our positive behavior initiative, P.R.I.D.E., reflects the spirit of our school mascot, the Wyncote Academy Lion. Just as lions demonstrate strength, leadership, and pride in their community, we encourage our students to embody these same qualities each day.

Throughout the year, students who consistently demonstrate P.R.I.D.E. will have opportunities to earn exciting rewards, special events, and school-sponsored trips. We are proud to offer these incentives at no cost to families, as they are fully funded by Wyncote Academy as a way to recognize and celebrate positive behavior and strong character.

We encourage families to discuss these expectations with their children and help reinforce these values at home. Together, we can ensure that every Wyncote Academy Lion demonstrates the pride, responsibility, and leadership that make our school community strong.
