Over the year, our students have been honored with a visit from Kerri, the therapy dog. Kerri spreads joy wherever she goes and we are grateful that our students get to spend time with such an affectionate and understanding canine! Reading students were treated to an outdoor field trip to Winterthur and Longwood Gardens in Delaware! It was a beautiful day to explore the outdoors and escape the classroom!

State Representative Napoleon Nelson presents Wyncote Academy with two checks to support its growing urban agriculture program. Both checks are grant awards, one from the PA Dept of Agriculture and the other from the PA Dept. of Education. One of the grants - for $30,000 - comes directly to Wyncote Academy. The other grant - for $45,815 - is split between Wyncote Academy and Cheltenham High School's environmental science program.

This week was full of Irish culture and good food provided by Ms. Kristi's mom who came to visit and participate! Corned beef and cabbage and potatoes. Plus traditional Irish soda bread! Yummy!

This was the inaugural Thanksgiving Day Lunch here at Wyncote! Staff members cooked and organized and our student council members helped to serve the yummy lunch to students. We are please to say there weren't many leftovers for this event!
